TracTuff H22 Swirl Pot

TracTuff H22 Swirl Pot

H22/H23(VTEC) and F20B engine owners, here is my first entry for swirl tanks, I dont plan on reproducing this specific combo but the overall shape will be consistent with a production version. Basically... the notched tube ends wont have as much "wrap". The wrap and close proximity of the inlet/ outlet makes it very difficult to weld and I cannot drop the tank down any further due to starter and transmission clearance issues. Take a look at some of the other applications to get an idea of what I mean when I say less wrap.

The swirl tank starts with a billet flange that incorporates an OEM exit angle and o-ring grove. The tank placement clears the distributor and the outlet can exit straight forward, passenger headlight, or passenger fender. If you choose to use a standard hose, I believe you can trim the molded hose to work if you request that I clock the outlet as close to the OEM angle as possible.

The domestic cap bung has a 1/8" NPT port and the import version has a 1/16" NPT for connection to an overflow. The domestic version uses any early model (late 70's Chevy C10 Pickup w/ 454) cap and the import version uses early model Honda (88'-91' Civic/ CRX and 90'-93' Integra) cap.

NOTE: Made to Order - Contact for ETA - If you are interested in a specific design that varies from this, please email us at If you have questions related to the configuration options... PLEASE visit the FAQ page. If using AN lines we also recommend designing the upper radiator hose so that there is droop/ give so the engines movement and does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts. The tank is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine with a 10.5° lean backwards (intake side).
