TracTuff PR3 Billet Water Neck w/ Swirl Tank
Okay B18C5 and B16 engine owners... this is the penical of our water neck offerings! The proven swirl tank.
It all starts with our beautifully machined flange that incorporates a 3D tapered entry port for a seamless transition to the tubing that is routed to the tank. The backside of the flange has an o-ring grove for a positive seal without the hassle of Hondabond. The tank placement has been thoroughly thought out to not only clear the distributor and VTEC solenoid but also has a brace that ties it to the cylinder head for added support and the outlet exits similarly to that found on the B18C1, allowing you to use a GSR upper hose!

The domestic cap bung has a 1/8" NPT port and the import version has a 1/16" NPT for connection to an overflow. The domestic version uses any early model (mid 70's through late 80's Chevy) cap and the import version uses early model Honda (88'-91' Civic/ CRX and 90'-93' Integra) cap.

If using AN lines we also recommend designing the upper radiator hose so that there is droop/ give so the engines movement and does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts. The tank is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine with a 5.5° lean forward (exhaust side).
1/1/19 Update: Due to the stress placed on the brackets/ braces, a plinth can be added to distribute the load and increase strength.
