I have been making and selling the K Series Thermostat Housing Port Adapter for the better part of 10 years and drilling into the plastic housing has always been a necessary step in the process and I have never received any negative feedback. I have had a handful of potential consumers complain about the idea of drilling into the plastic housing and possibly cracking it, as well as some that didn’t want to remove the housing in order to drill it… well this is my answer for those scenarios.
