Over the 14 years I’ve been in business (30 years in the industry), I have worked with thousands of project owners… maybe even tens of thousands. Many unique projects. The industry has recognized my success in solving issues and providing solutions. That, along with many happy customers who regularly point people to me, can make it hard to keep up with “innocent” or “quick” questions.
Its important you know that you are not the only person asking, and many reach out with a sense of entitlement. I’ve received every inquiry imaginable and from every type of consumer imaginable. It’s understood that business is a byproduct of good customer service… but unfortunately, not everyone wants to do business… they want FREE! And I can’t tell from just a knock on the door anymore. I have bills to pay and a limited number of hours in a day to do it.
I use this to focus on the consumers who get it. This purchase is NOT a waste of money if it answers questions, gives you ideas, or leads you away from a purchase that would have otherwise been unnecessary. The purchase of the time you select entitles you to that amount of time via a phone consultation. I’d like to stress that purchasing a chunk of time does NOT mean I drop whatever I am doing to have that conversation with you RIGHT NOW. The date(s) and time(s) will be chosen based on my calendar/workflow and emailed to you after your purchase.
If the consultation leads to the sale of a fabricated product or solution that we discussed within 30 days, I have been known to apply a portion of that amount as a discount on your purchase.
