The TracTuff M28 x 1.0 port adapter converts a relatively odd thread and an unused spot on many Honda/ Acura blocks to do something useful.

The decision to make this fitting came specifically from RWD k swaps and my extreme clearance water neck solutions that don’t have a heater core feed. Previously, I would machine the OEM plugs, strip the zinc, and weld a bung but they would look like shit in no-time! So, I decided to make this, which not only looks heaps better… but is also in stock! No more waiting for Rob to weld. The most popular use for the adapter has been to add a outlet/ feed for heater core and the second most popular use has been to feed a turbo.

If you plan to use this as a heater core feed, I recommend a -10 male flare port fitting. If you plan on using it to feed a turbo… you’ll likely need a -6 male flare port fitting which wont be available from me for a few more weeks.

NOTE: If you own a k series, the M28 x 1.0 AN Adapter screws into the large threaded passage just above the oil filter. If your block was not equipped with an oil cooler, you will need to remove a hex plug that is deep inside that passage. If your block was originally equipped with an oil cooler and you are no longer using the oil cooler assembly, you will need my Block Port Block Off. If you are only looking to feed a turbo and you do not have a factory oil cooler, you may also consider my M18 to -6 adapter that thread deeper inside this spot.

The M28 x 1.0 AN Adapter requires the use of a Honda crush washer (90401-PR4-000), which is not supplied.
