TracTuff Coolant Bleed Bolt & Bung

Description

TracTuff Stainless Steel Bleed Bolt & Aluminum Bung was introduced as an upgrade to the standard 1/8″ NPT bung and plug found on the RWD K swap water necks. The new combo made it much easier to bleed a problematic spot in the cooling system because the bolt does not need to be completely removed. Just unseat the bolt, and air/ fluid will immediately start to flow through the bolt.

The parts are machined with an M10 x 1.25 pitch, so you can use a Honda bolt in the event you ever lose it. The tip of the stainless steel bolt has a rolled lip to help retain a hose while you bleed. Bung requires a minimum of a 1/2″ hole. If you ever decide to turn this bung into a free flowing vent, I also machine a replacement -4 male flare fitting.
