TracTuff K Series RSX Billet Thermostat Cover

Description

This version has a custom bent tube welded to the billet thermostat cover to mimic the factory RSX outlet angle.

The Billet Thermostat Cover natively bolts to the OEM the K20A, K20A2, K20A3, and K20Z1 plastic housing(s) using the original shoulder bolts, OEM thermostat, and OEM gasket. The billet cover will also fit all other k series thermostat housings found on “all other” engine codes not previously mentioned, by modifying one of the lower mounting tabs (see picture below).

NOTE: The billet thermostat cover does not include a thermostat. To run this product, you MUST use a 2002-2006 Acura RSX or 2002-2005 Civic Si (P/N: 19301-PNA-003) thermostat. I ONLY recommend Genuine Honda.

“All Others” modification

Multiple swaps may benefit from this configuration; however, my thermostat cover is slightly taller, and you will need approximately 1.00″ of additional space in front of your current OEM thermostat cover for this to fit. Customers who have ordered this standard hose configuration have shared that the OEM RSX lower hose has worked when the radiator outlet is in the same location as the RSX outlet.

However, if you are choosing the AN connection option… I strongly recommend that you either have a dual pass type radiator where the outlet has been moved to the end of the driver’s side tank, or be prepared to move your current radiator outlet as far away as possible. The distance from the radiator outlet and the thermostat cover is VERY close, and the factory rubber hose is short and twisted. I believe it is impossible to recreate this connection in -16 in such a tight space.
