TracTuff PRB/ PRC “Race” Fill Pot

It’s not a swirl tank; it may look like one… but it’s not. This is the little brother to the swirl tank, the fill pot! The inlet/ outlet configuration really doesn’t do anything to actively separate air like the wrapped and staggered inlet/ outlet found on a swirl tank, and as a result, the fill pot is easier to make, resulting in a less expensive product.

The race fill pot begins with a beautifully machined flange that has been CNC-machined from US-milled 6061-T6 aluminum with an OEM o-ring groove. You can choose from a list of options to make the product as unique as your project, including outlet position and accessory ports for aftermarket sensors and/ or turbo and wastegate feeds. The race version differs from the standard version in that the flange does not have a water bypass provision. If you would like this style of flange due to intake manifold-related issues… I can add a water bypass port to the bottom of the fill pot on request.

NOTE: The cap bung has a 1/16″ NPT port for connection to an overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps, such as an 88′-91′ Civic/ CRX or 90′-93′ Integra. If you are using AN lines, I recommend designing the upper radiator hose so that there is droop/ give… so the engine’s movement does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts.

The hardware kit includes two M6 socket head bolts and a Genuine Honda gasket. The tank is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine leaned back 15° (OEM position) for the traditional option and leaned forward 8° (intake side) for the gangster lean mount option.
