A 5-axis WOW piece!

The TracTuff B Series billet thermostat housing is a premium OEM replacement with a few tasteful upgrades. This means everyone can use it! You don’t need to run my water pipe or my billet thermostat cover if you don’t want to; you can totally use your original parts if you like.

Beautifully CNC-machined in the USA from US-milled 6061 material. Designed with threaded ports instead of pressed-in nipples, letting you choose what you use and how you connect it. It also includes a third unfinished sensor boss for adding an accessory, like an aftermarket pressure sensor (not for use with a temp sensor with an extended tip) or a connection for the IACV, if you still use it.

The water bypass and heater core return ports are both female -8 ORB, so changing the connection type or plugging one or the other is a BREEZE! The unfinished sensor boss has been machined with a center to aid users who want to drill and tap it for a 1/8″ NPT thread.

The hardware kit includes two stainless-steel M6 socket-head bolts (75mm and 40mm long), two 2mm spacers (likely not necessary), and the option to add shorter bolts for use with my billet cover. You can choose between the -8 ORB to 11/16″ hose fitting or a zinc-plated steel -8 ORB plug for either return port.

NOTE: I do not recommend plugging the water bypass port unless you have removed the thermostat. If you have removed the thermostat… you may be more interested in my Thermostat Housing Delete. If you own my billet thermostat cover, or plan to buy one and use it with this housing, it may contact the transmission bell housing. I recommend trying it before making any modifications, as it seems inconsistent. You may have to remove a small amount of material from the bottom of the cover.
