The TracTuff B Series billet thermostat housing is a fancy OEM replacement with a couple of tasteful changes. This means everyone can use it! You don’t need to run my water pipe or my billet thermostat cover if you don’t want to; you can totally use your original parts if you like.

Beautifully CNC-machined in the USA from US-milled 6061 material. Designed with threaded ports instead of pressed-in nipples, allowing users to choose what gets used and how it’s connected. There is also a third unfinished sensor boss for adding an accessory… like an aftermarket pressure sensor or a connection for the IACV, if you still use it.

The water bypass and heater core return ports are both female -8 ORB, which makes changing the connection type or plugging one or the other a BREEZE! The unfinished sensor boss has been machined with a center to aid users who want to drill and tap it for a 1/8″ NPT thread.

The hardware kit includes two stainless-steel M6 socket-head bolts. You can choose between the optional -8 ORB to 11/16″ hose fitting or a zinc-plated steel -8 ORB plug for either return port.

NOTE: Update 8/19/26 – I have received a few finished products and will start shipping orders in the order they were received. I should have my PO completed by 8/27/26 to fill all remaining orders. If you own my billet thermostat cover or plan to buy one and use it with this housing, you may find that it contacts the transmission bell housing. You will have to remove a small amount of material from the bottom of the cover. Also, I do not recommend plugging the water bypass port unless you have removed the thermostat.
