Description

Essentially a duplicate of the PRB/ PRC V2 swirl pot for the K20A, K20A2, K20A3, K20Z1, and K24A1 cylinder heads, but with options that don’t make sense to list on the FWD listing.

The NSX Spec product differs because I offer options that don’t make sense for the traditional FWD listing. Options like a 1.50″ standard hose outlet to match the factory hard lines at the firewall. A sealed filler cap rather than a radiator cap bung in the event you are using the OEM expansion tank on the firewall as well as the ability to add a vent to the swirl pot so that it connects OEM expansion tank like the factory did with the C30/ C32.

The swirl pot starts with a beautifully machined billet 6061-T6 flange which incorporates the largest passage possible within the OEM gasket’s footprint, an -8 ORB water bypass port, and a machined o-ring groove for the OEM gasket. You can choose to add a sensor port directly to the top of the flange (near the logo) or the side of the flange (under the outlet).

NOTE: The cap bung has a 1/16″ NPT port for connection to the overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps, such as an 88′-91′ Civic/ CRX or 90′-93′ Integra.

The swirl pot lid can be configured in one of three ways: a traditional radiator cap bung, a filler cap (shown), or a lid with a male flare AN fitting. Do not select a the filler cap option if there is no radiator cap elsewhere in the system. If this product is going to be used with a factory or aftermarket header/ expansion tank, you will need to add a vent to the swirl pot to feed that tank, and the water bypass port on the billet flange will need to be plugged. Water bypass will now come from the header/ expansion tank.

The hardware kit includes a -8 ORB to 11/16″ water bypass hose fitting, a stainless hose clamp, two M6 socket head bolts, and a Genuine Honda gasket. The tank is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine leaned back 15° (OEM position).
