Parts manufactured, sold, or distributed by TracTuff and/ or any of its distributors may not meet your states emissions requirements and are sold as "off-highway use" only. It is the end user's responsibility to comply with all local and federal laws and regulations. The use or installation of TracTuff products may affect your vehicles warranty coverage and/ or extended insurance plans. It is the user's sole responsibility for consequences that may occur due to having the product installed in his/her vehicle.
TracTuff assumes no legal responsibilities and/or liabilities, whether to user's vehicle, engine, person(s), and/or property(s), that result from the use of, or servicing of a vehicle of which a TracTuff product has been installed/attempted to be installed, or to any other vehicle(s) and/or person(s), regardless of whether or not this product has any involvement directly or indirectly and/or liability, and/or whether or not proper installation has been carried forth.
The purchase of TracTuff(s) product will act as an acknowledgement of the legal disclaimer stated herein.
It is the goal of TracTuff to give our customers the highest quality products possible. TracTuff warrants each new product, except for custom fabricated or altered products to be free from defects in both workmanship and material for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase, provided that the product is properly installed, subjected to normal use and service and that the product is not modified or changed in any way, nor damaged because of negligence by customer or installer.
Customers who believe they have a defective product should contact us prior to attempting a return. Once contact has been made and our staff agrees that a return is in order, an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) will be issued. Returned merchandise must be accompanied by proof of purchase and a complete description of the problem. The product must be returned freight prepaid. A thorough inspection of the product, by the factory, indicating a defect in workmanship or material will result in the sole obligation to repair or replace the product and only the product.
The purchase of TracTuff product(s) will act as an acknowledgement of the Warranty Policy stated herein.
In the event that you receive the wrong item, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number. Replacements will only be sent once the incorrect item has been received and confirmed by TracTuff.
Installed or modified parts automatically waive your right to a return, refund or exchange. Returned items will only be accepted if they are unused and in like-new condition. TracTuff does not accept returns on any items that are “Made to Order” or have custom features or modifications. TracTuff reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any goods returned or retain a potion of the deposit on any unshipped/ cancelled orders. Fees may range from no less than 20% to no more than 40% of order total.
Upon approval by TracTuff, refunds will be issued in the same manner that they were paid, less restocking fees, shipping fees and original PayPal fees. In the event of an error, the customer is responsible for all freight/shipping charges incurred with the return or exchange. This includes the original freight/shipping cost to the customer. Any refused shipment sent back to TracTuff does not constitute the right to a refund or credit. It is the customer’s responsibility to make all arrangements with TracTuff for refused shipments.
Customers that have placed order(s) or made a payment(s) via PayPal on product(s) and have for any reason changed his/ her mind about the purchase, regardless of availability/ stock status, he/ she will be responsible for the incoming transaction fee (the fee TracTuff absorbs upon receiving your payment) in the event of a refund. TracTuff willingly absorbs this fee as part of doing business, but when a refund is requested, there is no profit to offset the fee... and being PayPal does not reimburse the initial transaction fee to the buyer or seller... it will therefor not be refunded by the seller (TracTuff).
- EXAMPLE: A $500.00 purchase has a $14.80 fee that TracTuff absorbs. If a refund is negotiated and no other (shipping/ restocking) fee(s) are collected, the refund amount will be $485.20 ($500 - $14.80 = $485.20). If any in/ out bound shipping or restocking fee(s) are applied, those fees are subtracted from the $485.20
- EXAMPLE: Using the numbers from the above example... the $485.20 ($500.00 - $14.80 PayPal Fee) will have an added internal fee of 3% to 10% ($14.56 (3%) to $48.52 (10%).
If the product has shipped and needs to come back, please refer to the restocking fee.
TracTuff will ship your order via USPS (United States Postal Service) by default. If you have a specific carrier requirement/ preference, you can contact us after you have made your purchase and request a quote. We will respond with pricing, if there is any balance due, along with instructions on how to pay for the balance due.
Insurance protects the package against loss or damage while in transit. If the package is lost or damaged while in the carriers hands, you must communicate this to us so that we can file a claim. Insurance does NOT protect you against stolen packages... so please have the package shipped to a safe address or make sure you are present to receive the package. TracTuff is not responsible once the package has been handed to the shipper and the shipper is not responsible once the package has been delivered.
Shipping cutoff is 1:00pm PST (as of 8/1/2020) for First Class and Priority packages and 11:00am for Express packages. Most packages leave the same day (M-F) but that is largely dependent on work-load. I do not ship Express packages on Monday. The shear number of orders that come in over the weekend dictate that I cannot make a mid-day trip to the post office to make USPS's cutoff.
Will Call Policy:
TracTuff is NOT a retail operation. We do not offer will call/ local pick up. All orders are shipped. Local shipping is cheap and generally 1 day to all SoCal zip codes.
TracTuff is open from 7:30am PST to 5:30pm PST, Monday through Friday. Despite social media activity, these are the only hours customers should EXPECT answers to phone calls, texts, emails, direct messages, and/ or personal messages. If you get a response after hours or on weekends... consider yourself lucky! This is an exception and NOT a standard.
