Looking for a Honda/ Acura application-specific overflow? I’ve got you!

Custom-machined billet tank bracket mounts make it a snap to replace your gross old plastic reservoir with a slick, matching overflow. A nice finishing touch to my filler necks, fill pots, and swirl pots. The overflow slides into several golden era OEM reservoir brackets (shown below). The overflow incorporates a clean vented filler cap and your choice of connection.

I do not recommend choosing anything taller than 6.00″ for the EG/ EK/ DC2 Power Steering bracket or the EF and DC2 Overflow bracket unless the overflow is mounted over the edge of the frame (not possible with the EG/ EK/ DC2 Power Steering bracket) and the cylinder extends below the mounting surface.

I highly recommend that you grab something from around the garage that represents the diameter of the overflow you are looking to order, and confirm that it will fit between the OEM EG and EK coolant overflow bracket and the radiator that is just beside it.

The connection options listed need to be selected based on how you plan on mounting the overflow. Understand that if you are using the OEM EG/ EK/ DC2 Power Steering OR the EF/ DC2/ RD1/ RD2 overflow brackets, and you choose the port to be on the base, you will need to account for the fitting (assuming the overflow is being mounted over a flat surface). If you choose the inlet/ outlet port to be on the base… I will thread a 90° fitting in and weld the bracket just above that height, but this will obviously increase the installed height.

NOTE: The tank height you have chosen is just the length/ height of the body. Please add 1.355″ for the billet base, billet lid, and filler cap to get an overall height. It is your responsibility to research the internal volume of your choice.

The billet brackets that make it possible to slide a fabricated overflow into the OEM steel overflow/ power steering bracket come in two sizes. The applications listed are the only brackets I have personally confirmed to work. Honda/ Acura has made MANY different sizes over the years… they may look similar, but are not the same. There may be other OEM brackets out there that will accept my billet brackets, but I cannot confirm them all. Please do your own due diligence before assuming or simply buy and use one of the brackets listed, even if you don’t own the application it came from; some can be used universally.
