TracTuff 1/16" NPT to -4 Male Flare
The 1/16" NPT to -4 Male Flare port adapter is specifically made for my billet radiator cap bungs. Meaning... they screw in by hand and fully tighten before poking out the other end, interfering with the radiator caps moving parts, and it does so without hitting the outside of the cap.
I recommend that the fitting be tightened so that the hex is flat (as shown below) in relationship to the cap to avoid interference. If the fitting threads in further than shown in the gallery photo above... the female thread has been stretched out by your previous fitting.
NOTE: Teflon tape should be used on ALL tapered pipe threads. Teflon tape is primarily used to lubricate the threads of mating parts and is used on the male thread to keep threads from binding/ galling, decreasing the effort required to assemble.
