The DIY Direct Mount Swirl Pot is essentially the same product I go to in 80% of my application specific projects performed in-house. Now available in a kit that can be finished by you.
- Standard Hose 1.25" - A 6.00" tall body, a billet tank base, a billet tank lid, a billet radiator cap bung, and two 1.25" notched bends w/ 6.00" straight legs
- Standard Hose 1.50" - A 6.00" tall body, a billet tank base, a billet tank lid, a billet radiator cap bung, and one 1.25" and one 1.50" notched bends w/ 6.00" straight legs
- -16 Male Flare - A 6.00" tall body, a billet tank base, a billet tank lid, a billet radiator cap bung, two 1.25" notched bends w/ 6.00" straight legs, and one -16 male flare bung
NOTE: Billet parts are cleaned in a ultrasonic cleaning tank with a proprietary solution just prior to packaging. No prep is necessary. It is important that you add a few drops of oil to your finished products threads prior to assembly to prevent galling. If you are going to check thread mesh prior to welding, be sure to lubricate the threads and clean again prior to welding.
The product listed here WILL NOT reproduce ALL of my application specific swirl tanks. This kit includes only what is listed above... a few products I make are complicated and require a unique list of materials. I am willing to reproduce those items on request but they will be MORE EXPENSIVE... as it will require me to completely mock up the product, at which point it would be best to just have me finish it. Here are just two examples of what this kit WILL NOT allow you to build.
All billet parts are CNC machined from US milled 6061 aluminum. The cap bung has a 1/16" NPT port for connection to an overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps, such as an 88'-91' Civic/ CRX or 90'-93' Integra.
