TracTuff J Series Through Valley Exit Water Neck

$459.95

The J Series engine has been finding its way into several rear wheel drive swaps, and I've seen some real creative solutions to make the engine fit up against the firewall; some were convoluted, and others looked like they would hurt water flow so I decided to jump in and take a stab at it!

To make the combo as compact as possible the four bolt flange had to go over the camshaft thrust cover and being the OEM camshaft thrust cover is tall, a more compact version needed to be made to reduce the height of both water neck flanges while maintaining 1.00" internal passages. The low profile camshaft thrust cover (.1712" tall) was essential to hitting the overall height. You only need 2.10" of space between the firewall and the water necks mounting surface to run these!

The four-bolt flange uses an OEM gasket (Not Included) to seal against the cylinder head; it incorporates an early M12 x 1.5 J Series ECT sensor port, a 1/8" NPT accessory port, and a -16 ORB outlet that gets plugged in this configuration. The two-bolt flange uses an o-ring (included) to seal against the cylinder head and incorporates a -8 ORB outlet port. The hardware kit includes a custom -8 ORB to 11/16" hose fitting or a plug so you can choose whether or not to connect a heater core. You have the choice of adding a -10 male flare accessory bung to feed hot water to the thermostat water bypass port if you plan on running an inline thermostat.

NOTE: Made to Order - Contact for ETA - If you are interested in a specific design that varies from this, please email us at sales@tractuff.com. These unique flanges do not have the means to hold the water pump inlet tube like the V1 flanges do, so you will need to run the J Series Water Pump Inlet or come up with your solution. The TractTuff J Series RWD Water Pump Inlet shown in the photos below is NOT INCLUDED.

The flange was not designed with a fan switch port, but a couple of customers have asked for one to be added, so I have made it a non-mandatory option above.
