TracTuff P72 Fill Pot
It's not a swirl pot... it may look like one, but its not. This is the little brother to the swirl pot, the fill pot! The inlet/ outlet configuration doesn't do anything to actively separate air like the wrapped and staggered inlet/ outlet found on a swirl pot and as a result... the fill pot is easier to make, resulting in a less expensive product. So if you just want a fill point that does a better job catching passing air than a filler neck, this is for you!
The fill pot starts with a beautifully machined 6061-T6 flange that incorporates incorporates a 3D tapered exit port for a seamless transition to 1.25" tubing. The backside of the flange has an o-ring grove for a positive seal without the hassle of Hondabond. The product in these photographs clears the VTEC spool valve assembly and the VTEC pressure switch. If the VTEC spool valve assembly has been deleted... the cylinder can be moved closer to the flange for a more compact package. You have the choice of standard hose (1.25" OD) or -16 male flare.
The hardware kit includes two M6 stainless steel socket head bolts and an o-ring. The fill pot is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine leaned forward 5.5° (exhaust side).
NOTE: Made to Order - Contact for ETA - If you are interested in a specific design that varies from this, please email us at sales@tractuff.com. The cap bung has a 1/16" NPT port for connection to an overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps; such as an 88'-91' Civic/ CRX or 90'-93' Integra. If you are using AN lines, I recommend designing the upper radiator hose so that there is droop/ give... so the engines movement and does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts.
