The TracTuff Remote Oil Pressure Sensor Kit is an inexpensive way to remove your aftermarket oil pressure sensor from the engine and away from vibration. Vibration has been known to skew data and reduce the sensor's life. It also solves an issue I am paranoid about... the potential failure of an overloaded BSPT port adapter that can lead to a broken block and an oil fire!
Kit includes:
- Your choice of either my 1/8" BSPT Adapter - V2 or my 1/8" BSPT Adapter - V1 for use with the OEM sensor.
- 1/8" NPTF to -4 male flare sensor adapter (only choose if your sensor didn't come with one).
- Combination of straight and/ or 90° hose fittings.
- Length of Teflon core stainless steel over braid hose.
- 1.00" padded p-clamp with M6 mounting hole to hold the sensor.
The 1/8" BSPT to -4 male flare port fitting screws into the original oil pressures sensor port on the block. The line is unassembled so you can cut it to length once you find an M6 mounting within reach of the harness. If you are trying to incorporate the OEM sender, choose the Aluminum -4 Male Flare w/ BSPT Port option.
