TracTuff RBB/ RBC Swirl Pot - NSX Spec
The NSX Spec variant is essentially a duplicate of the RBB/ RBC V2 swirl pot but with options that make it unique to the swap. A 1.50" outlet to match the factory hard lines that run up to the front of the vehicle and options that allow you to either use a filler cap (shown) rather than a traditional radiator cap bung (assumes you have a higher one elsewhere) or even a -8 ORB port to vent to either the OEM expansion tank or one of mine that has taken its place.
This swirl pot starts with a beautifully machined 6061-T6 flange that incorporates a -16 ORB outlet port and a 1/2" NPT heater port. You can choose to have any number of accessory bung options added to the tank in any open space. The outlet itself can be configured for standard hose (1.50" OD), -16 or -20 male flare.
The hardware kit includes four M8 socket head bolts, a 90° heater hose fitting, a 1/2" NPT plug, an EGR passage plug, and a pair of o-rings.

The OEM wire harness and heater hard line will not work with this product. The bulk of the wire harness must be reduced or moved, and the heater hard pipe needs to be cut or replaced by my Thermostat Housing Port Adapter. The cap bung has a 1/16" NPT port for connection to an overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps; such as an 88'-91' Civic/ CRX or 90'-93' Integra. If you are using AN lines, I recommend designing the upper radiator hose so there is droop/ give... so the engine's movement does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts.
If this product is going to be used with a factory or aftermarket header tank, you will need to add either a vented lid (ORB option) or the "header tank vent" to the body of the swirl pot when a radiator cap or filler cap is chosen for the lid. Do NOT pick an ORB lid and the header tank vent unless you plan on sending water to more than one place. If no header tank is to be used... I recommend a radiator cap bung (shown below). Do NOT select the "filler cap" option unless there is a radiator cap elsewhere in the system.
