TracTuff RBB/ RBC Swirl Pot - RWD V1.2
Something new for all you rear wheel drive k swappers!! This swirl tank takes advantage of wasted space and offers a premier solution for bleeding the cooling system; which would otherwise be a real project. This new variant moves the cylinder closer to the billet flange and as a result, does not require a bracket to support the cylinder as shown on V1... nor does it require that you send your manifold in to have a mounting boss welded. However, it will likely require you to change fuel rail plumbing.
This swirl pot starts with a beautifully machined 6061-T6 flange that incorporates a -16 ORB outlet port and a 1/2" NPT heater port. You can choose to have any number of accessory bung options added to the tank in any open space. The outlet itself can be configured for standard hose (1.25" OD) or -16 male flare.
The hardware kit includes four M8 stainless steel socket head bolts, a 90° heater hose fitting, a 1/2" NPT plug and either a Genuine Honda gasket or a pair of o-rings.
NOTE: Made to Order - Contact for ETA - If you are interested in a specific design that varies from this, please email us at sales@tractuff.com. I recommend the use of intake manifold bolts over studs to make installation and removal easier. The use of studs may require the swirl pot be loosened in order for the manifold to be removed. Standard swirl pot variant will come with a radiator cap bung. The "RACE" version (shown) requires the use of a header tank.
The tank is welded so that it sits level when bolted to an engine leaned back 15° (exhaust side). If you have chosen to ship your manifold in, understand return shipping of the manifold is NOT included in the price shown.
Due to the large differences in each of the intake manifolds listed, the finished product may differ from the image shown. Also, unique features on some of these manifolds, such as the 2nd. fuel rail on S2 Ultra Race, will either dictate the inlet and outlet positions or render that feature unusable. I will email buyers that have selected that manifold once the product has been purchased and break down your options.
