TracTuff RBB/ RBC Filler Neck - V1
Whether you have added a radiator that does not have a fill point or you are just in need of a higher fill point to aid in burping the sometimes troublesome cooling system, the filler neck for the K24A, K24A2, K24A4, K24A8, K20Z3, and K20Z4 or anyone using the RAA/ RBB/ RBC/ RSP cylinder head is an entry-level product that gets it done.
The fabricated K Series filler neck replaces the bulky OEM piece with its huge heater core fitting and EGR platform. The filler neck starts with a CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum flange and has a mandrel-bent section of 1.25" tube welded to it that mimics the OEM outlet position. The flange incorporates a 1/2" NPT heater port that can also be used as an outlet if you are not running in-cabin heat. The outlet can be configured for a standard hose (1.25" OD) or -16 male flare.
The hardware kit includes four M8 socket head bolts, a 90° heater hose fitting, a heater port plug, an EGR Passage Plug, and a pair of o-rings. The filler tube is welded so it sits level when bolted to an engine leaned back 15° (OEM option) or leaned forward 8° (Gangster Lean engine mount option).
NOTE: Made to Order - Contact for ETA - If you are interested in a specific design that varies from this, please email us at sales@tractuff.com. The cap bung has a 1/16" NPT port for connection to an overflow and uses early model Honda radiator caps, such as an 88'-91' Civic/ CRX or 90'-93' Integra. If you are using AN lines, I recommend designing the upper radiator hose so there is droop/ give... so the engine's movement does not push/ pull on the radiator and fatigue any parts.
The space between the filler tube and the flange makes the upper forward-most mounting bolt a challenge to get to without the right tools. If you don't already own one, you may want to add a 6mm Stubby L-Key.
